Haley Mansion is a hilltop manor and wedding venue right in the middle of the neighborhoods of Joliet. The home was commissioned in 1891 by Patrick Columbus Haley, a prominent lawyer and politician. He and his beloved wife, Mary Anastasia Darcy, already had six children and needed a new space for their growing family. While residing here, the pair had three more children, and the family lived happily for years and years. The house remained family-owned for a while and was eventually sold. Today, it stands ready to help write the next chapter in your own love story!
Details of the Grounds
Haley Mansion gives you exclusive access to the grounds throughout your day, giving you the freedom to host your entire wedding in one convenient space. Your day will start out in the bridal suite, where you can put on all the finishing touches while celebrating with your closest friends. For your ceremony, you will have several options. For those who prefer an indoor service, you can use the Grand Conservatory. This space features a skylight as well as French windows that let in plenty of natural lighting. If you would prefer an outdoor wedding, you can head out to the garden, where you can exchange vows beneath a white pergola.
For a cocktail hour, you can set up a bar on the back patio so your guests can enjoy drinks before the dancing begins. Once it’s time for your reception, your guests will head into the Ballroom, where they will enjoy a plated dinner followed by hours of celebration. Haley Mansion is able to host up to 350 guests for your event.

Haley Mansion has so many perfect wedding portrait opportunities! Once you are done getting ready, you will be able to use the miscellaneous rooms for bridal portraits, where you can show off your look surrounded by historic charm. The covered porch tends to be a favorite spot for first-look pictures. I am also a huge fan of using the gardens for group portraits!
