When the pandemic started months ago I had this idea that I wanted to blog every week and support a new small business every blog as I know there are so many amazing small businesses out there who were greatly impacted by this virus. Myself included. I reached out to Kelly and she sent me some stationary samples to photography for the blog! Unfortunately, Covid19 kicked my ass. I don’t mean literally. I have been fortunate enough to not have been hit by this virus physically, however my mental and emotional health suffered for a while, thus making it hard for me to focus on completing any single task. As we started slowly picking back up, so did business – Thank the Lord.
This being said, I should have posted these months ago. I may be late to the party, but I will not let her go unnoticed!
Kelly Reif Stationary is a fabulous local residing in Naperville Il. She has been in business for 13 years. Kelly says “I always been a freelance graphic designer, but started in more of the corporate world. After I had my first son, I wanted to stay home, but missed being creative and working. So I started doing more personalized stationery and fell in love with creating beautiful wedding invitations. “
Her main focus is wedding stationery – invitations, save the dates (and now change the dates!), escort cards, wedding programs, thank you cards and signage. But she also does a ton of holiday cards, graduation announcements, custom notepads and other personal stationery. I am hoping to collaborate with her for Christmas minis this year if possible. 🙂
“Everything I do is custom designed. I’ll meet with the couple and hear their wedding vision. From there, I show them a ton of samples and we create a design that will set the perfect tone for their wedding day. I do everything from very formal and traditional, to rustic, and even some sports themes. I also work within everyone’s budgets. I can create a beautiful, simple invitation or something with pockets, and a lot of bells and whistles. But regardless, every single invitation suite I do includes free guest and response card addressing. “
A deposit is required to start the process of designing, however, there are never any charges for changes. So if it takes a dozen tries to get the perfect invitation – so be it!
